From the Catalan Society of Pain and Chronic Acute Pain Section of the SEDAR we are organizing a scientific symposium on "Clinical Use of opioids in acute, chronic and breakthrough pains" to be held in Barcelona on 18-19 February, 2011.
The symposium is geared to physicians, nurses and other health professionals, involved in the care of patients with pain of any etiology, which require opioids as part of their treatment. Our goal is to conduct quality scientific symposium that allows participants to update their knowledge on the clinical use of opioids (individually and in combination with other drugs), incorporated new therapeutic modalities and ways / methods of administration.
For this we have excellent speakers from national and international prestige that will provide updated scientific knowledge, with attendees sharing their clinical experience on the use of opioids in the treatment of acute and chronic pain of any etiology.
We sincerely appreciate the cooperation of the pharmaceutical industry and technology, which contributes substantially to the development and diffusion of new therapeutic modalities in our field, particularly in the clinical use of opioids.
